Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on the 30th of December 1986. The public was captivated in 2010 through her hits "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses," British vocalist Ellie Goulding quickly rose to the highest of the charts thanks to her infectious electronic pop sound. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has been at the cutting edge as are Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap, of mainstream contemporary music, and independent, hip-hop that is arty. Her soprano and her ability to write emotionally authentic songs is what makes her distinct. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a big record deal. The album she released was set to release.
