Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast born on the 14th of March 1997 in Ohio, Columbus. Biles is thought of to be among the top gymnasts. Biles was the first female gymnast in history to be awarded four gold medals at one Games. in Rio de Janeiro, she also became the first woman to ever win consecutive World All Around Titles (2013-15). Biles is from Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area following the time she and her twin sister Adria was adopted by parents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone initially became interested in the sport of gymnastics at the age of six. Her instructor Aimee Borman took her to Bannon's Gymnastix which was where they went for a field trip. Biles took home a gold medal for the floor exercise, and also a bronze in vault at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010 before breaking into the elite level of competition in 2011. In less than two years Biles was among the top in her class. Biles's steadfastness, her enthusiastic personality and the level of difficulty in her four events -- vault uneven bars, balance beam floor exercises and floor exercise -- set her out from the rest of the athletes.
